ABOUT US

Old Images The first time I bought an antique photograph at a yard sale, I felt like I was buying a link to someone’s past, an untold story. When I brought it home I put it away. Why was I so ashamed? Because a seven year old should be collecting baseball cards or maybe comic books. Purchasing an old photograph felt hopelessly outside the norm. I wasn't planning on buying more, so what did they have to offer me anyway? A look into someone’s past maybe saving someone else’s memories? And yet, for reasons I cannot quite explain, the ancient images beckoned me.

In the months after I purchased my first photograph, I searched every antique shop my bike and I could find. I searched between the acres of antiques, hoping to find that one magic image, -- I needed help.

Some of the images were in better shape than others. It wasn’t until College that I learned these images could be restored with the use of computers, imaging equipment and specialized software. I would dig through my collection often bringing the worst ones to class to restore. My passion became very obvious.

About six months into college my friends and family began giving me their family photographs and old negatives, I had a "To Do" list, and my clientele list had inexplicably ballooned.

And thus, Heirloom Imaging was born.

Well, at Heirloom we're not in the website business. This website, like any passion, is a labor of love. But our goal is to “Give Your History A Future” My hope is that Heirloom Imaging will fill a much-needed service, that it will be a place for family Genealogists or the like. The services needed to help you share for generations.

Welcome.
